Step 1:

The patient or the referring body sends me a faxed message or a letter describing the medical history and the other working details of the patient. We then do the necessary groundwork and send a reply by fax as to the number of days that the patient will be required to stay in Mumbai and the approximate expenses that the patient may incur.

Step 2:

We arrange for the patients to be received at the airport. In case of critically ill patients we arrange for ambulance transfer from the airport and directly hospitalize. Otherwise, the patient makes first consultation with me after arriving.

Step 3:

This is the most important part of the entire process, wherein I interview the patient, go through the medical history and then chart out the entire investigation programme. My multi-specialty family welfare centre staff includes two assistant doctors, a dietician, a physiotherapist and a centre manager.

Step 4:

We organize appointments for investigations in such a manner that all the reports and findings are ready within 48 hours, following which I have a second consultation with reports with the patient.

Step 5:

During this consultation we discuss the various reports and find out the need for specialist consultation.

Step 6:

We arrange for consultation with the specialist doctors on our panel at the earliest possible.

Step 7:

Special investigations like angiography, biopsy etc. are done as per advice of the specialist.
We also help the patients to choose the hospital and the class of admission as per the economic status of the patient.
Many a time a patient may require multiple speciality consultations in and out of the hospital. We co-ordinate the busy specialistsand streamline the medical management of the patient.
Occasionally we have arranged for two different surgeons to perform two seperate surgeries at the same time to avoid double anaesthesia and dounle hospitalization.
We also provide excellent social support to the patient with the help of our paramedical staff and we work in liasion with local social bodies like Imam Foundation headed by Al-Haj Mr. Mohib Ali Naser.
